Thank you very much for your input but it is hopeless. He is a blatant AMD-Fanboy as much as he is a Nintendo-Fanboy. :/
He still wants to get the AMD CPU. This is very stupid but oh well... it is HIS money he is wasting. I am sorry for wasting your time, it was a bad idea trying to help him choosing the right parts in the first place.
