My other 2 old Wiimotes are cheap ones too. Both have no problem with connectivity. The 1st one was perfect. Then I bought the 2nd with less luck :-( It stops responding in middle of the game. But when I used it with GlovePIE for other program it worked perfectly.
The 3rd one is not connecting maybe I shouldn't have one with motion+ :-)
