I see thank you that makes things easier for me now.

The only things that can't be changed that way are dsp lle/hle, and switching hw ↔ sw video backend, as far as i know.

Ok so pretty much everything can be changed and applied through a loaded state except for what you said ^...If that's the case that makes fiddling around so much easier.
