My apologies if this is posted in the wrong section, hell it's not necessarily dolphin-specific but with Nintendo, or whichever 3rd party host, shutting down the n-wi-fi service as it relates to the DS and Wii this May.. has there been any discussion about the possibility of 'emulating' that service either through Dolphin or through another open project? If anything I'd like to be educated on how possible that would be and why.
Some people somewhere said they were going to monitor traffic for as many games as possible so it could be emulated eventually, but it wasn't dolphin people who said they were doing this, and it isn't really Dolphin's job to set up publicly run servers. Worst case scenario, though, you'll still be able to use Dolphin's netplay to play splitscreen over the internet.
