hi everyone, I'm new here and i need your expert opinion. I am planning on setting up a new computer since my computer is showing its age already. I tried play with the last story and when i get to the city the lag was unbearable hitting only 12 fps then when i play xenoblade it hits 30 but occasionally hit 25 below which sometimes destroys the mood. Help me decide which of these processor to choose.
i5 4570, 4670 or 4670k?

how big is the difference between the 4570, 4670?

thanks.

my old rig
Phenom ii x4 955 be OC to 3.6ghz
asrock 970 extreme 4
kingston ddr3 1600 4gb
Sapphire r9 270x vapor-x
thermaltake toughtpower xt 775w bronze

k = unlocked multiplier (can be overclocked)
Without k , you can't do that
Your Phenom is pretty old indeed . Since Dolphin is a dual core application , Pretty much any low end CPU (like Pentium Haswell G3220) can blow it out of the water
i5 4670k + MSI Z87 G45 are your best bet (keep in mind that only Z87 mobo support OC)
i3 4130 @ 3.4GHz isn't bad at all . It's faster than FX 8350 @ 5GHz in Dolphin Benchmark
It's almost twice as fast as your current CPU in Dolphin performance
i3 is a non k CPU , it can't be OCed so you can pair it with H81 mobo
i5 4570 is just a bit faster than i3 4130 in Dolphin and so do i5 4670 . I had to choose an i5 , I would get an unlocked version rather than a normal one

thanks, i will be getting the i5 4670k.
If you don't planning on overclocking then it's best to get the CPU that has the fastest stock speed that fits your budget.
