When I boot up any game in recent revisions, I get nothing but a black screen. Going back to 4.0-889, everything works fine. However, in the following build (4.0-905), the issue starts to happen. I have found one way to get games to start, and that's to change the Emulator Engine to "Interpreter," though it's obviously too slow to play. I've tried with both graphics backends and the result is the same. Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this?

Everything's default, I cleared out the Dolphin folder in My Documents.

Yes. Both D3D and OpenGL yield the same result.
Try with a more recent build and then tell what happens.

I guess I should have specified, I've tried the most recent build, it doesn't work. As I said, the problem started with 4.0-905. 4.0-889 and earlier work just fine.

There is a known issue with the 335 nvidia drivers. Roll back to 332. - https://www.facebook.com/dolphin.emu/pos...9847091791

x86 versions are currently crashing, starting with 4.0-905. Known issue. - https://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu/is...il?id=7036
Unfortunately, until this is fixed all you can do is use older versions (with the older driver) to avoid problems. Sorry dude.
Ah, shame on me for not searching well enough. Thank you for the information.
