imo great compability on one platform is better then ok compability on 3 platforms. How many of the dolphin users are emulating on mac and linux. 1%?

And are the Zelda graphic bugs really fixable with opengl?
Quote:Quite Frankly there is an outside source working on a Dx10 Plugin, but supposedly he's not a reliable foundation so don't expect a miracle.

Who is he?, I have no idea Sad I forgot where i heard this from so i have no source, Sorry.

That would be me.

They consider me not reliable because of my ideological differences with them and noobs. Noobs tend to piss me off to no end, and so things get delayed if I ever deal with them or even notice them.

Thats why I can be unreliable: I code when I feel like, I am not someones slave and I have ZERO tolerance for any noobishness.
Core2uu: I use tortoiseSVN to import, selected revision 2390, and when it shows the download results, it asks me for a username and a password. I enter anything and everything, but nothing works. The download eventually fails because of failed authentication. Now I don't know what to do.

Lol , now its talking ! DX was in 2 nd position yesterday before you opened your Monkey mouth ^^(jk and btw its capisce lol)Heart

To Omega : Seems like Nvidia are selling a lot of those 3d vision glasses^^(did you buy a pair ?lol)
this makes no sense, if the dx plugin was infinately better like some of you are making it seem, then they would have kept using it. Even IF its better, it makes no sense to abandon a great plugin and abandon linux and mac users JUST to go back and work on an old plugin that would set the perfect emulation status on tons of games back by months... if your computer doesnt support opengl, i HIGHLY doubt you will be able to render games at full speed anyway.
A new PC is where it's at.

The only time that I'd vouch for making a better DX plugin would be if some new devs would work on it, and none of the ones that are currently trying to make the project better would be diverted from what is obviously going to get better.

Fixing DirectX is like mining oil; long, hard, and probably a waste of time.

I'm sure if you decided to do so, Some Devs would support your action

But it's nothing to stress over, No one will force you into such a mind wrenching; unpleasant task.

Well, I just tried it and it updated for me just fine. You should be seeing a menu like this when you right-click. Post a screenshot of what you see.

admins are currently looking for devs to continue development of the directx plugin

you know we should force those JaboD3d guys from the n64 emulators to work on the d3d for this one. Theres even the Rice video plugins guys. Lets go and email them till they give up.
