Dolphin, the GameCube and Wii emulator - Forums

Hello Everyone!

I'm currently having a problem were every time i load up a game i get a "Critical error" that tells me that it "Failed to d3d11.dll". I have tried this on two computers with different versions of dolphin and with different roms. All i want to do is play games. Any help?

Is d3d11 installed? Install the latest DirectX redistributable, see if that fixes it. I'm not sure it will, since you're on vista, and D3D11 was supposed to be windows 7+ only.

There is a platform update for vista which provides the D3D11 runtime afaik.

I can already tell that that PC will be way to slow for Dolphin.

Oh look, a click on the profile proves my theory. Try Dolphin on your Mac, but not that thing.
