What does that matter even matter? This post is about the auto frame skip, which works regardless of the plugin you use. Besides DX is just a hype because of the insane speeds that DX is getting right now due to the lack of all the features and Compatibility that OGL has. I'm sure that once DX gets all the same things implemented for it, it will be just as slow, if not slower.

the new patch disables the framelimit for few frames if the game runs slow to increase real fps.

well it works, but doesn't do much in directx.

i get nearly no speedup with frameskipping in dx with about ~90% of my games.

seriously, ogl is same speed for 99.5% (some are a 1-2 fps more and some are even slower...) for me compared to DX
+ DX has graphical glitches
hmm... upgrading from x1900 to 4870 gave me about 1-2 more fps.

changing ogl to dx gives me up to 200% more speed in some games.

so i doubt its the gpu.
