Sanosuke

hello, im having this issue too where when i try to even play games like sonic adventure dx cut on my dell inspiron m531r-5535 laptop with 6gb ram(not sure about the graphics and video card, dunno how to find it) and its windows 8. the game runs fine, but the audio has a real tendency to like "skip" or studder and this makes the game lag and or run slower too. i tried all the suggestions already, even doing the audio backend too openal which now the game doesnt even start up since i done that. i would like to be able to play games like sonic and specifically things like star fox adventure with out the sound messing everything up. any other fixes?

Edit: alright so i managed to get the game working again and managed to get it to stop studdering/skipping but now it runs like it was in slow-motion which is even worse cause it makes the game run in slowmo as well
Please understand this, the audio isn't slowing down the game, the game slowing down is making the audio stutter, which is better emulation than asynchronous audio. It is the more correct option, and causes far less audio issues in hundreds of games. What you're asking is a bit unreasonable.
Don“t expect full speed/constant full speed on any game with that APU.
