One-time generation is a better option than accepting anything (including invalid MACs) and letting it be changed at will.
Regardless we need the logs for the acctcreate action since WFC won't be around to handle it (or refuse, if we want to make a better effort at handling cheaters than Nintendo did).
Just to be clear I wasn't saying he should randomly generate it every time like that guy said. I was pointing out that Parlane appeared to have no interest in fixing the 20115 error before, since users could just dump their NANDs and use their own stuff and that would suffice from then on. And then the system was announced to be closed, and boom, he jumps right on a fix.
I wonder this commit may make Miis you created with older builds non editable. At least we can manually change the MAC in Dolphin.ini...
I just, literally a few hours ago, finished installing my new high end rig that I just bought with a 4670k mainly to play Metroid games, MK Wii and SSBB online. And then I read this...
What is this acctcreate stuff?
And does this mean you won't be able to change MAC addresses or something?
Also, MKWii freezes when opening the WFC menu. (Followed guide)

Are you using a newer build? I found newer builds were bugged, specifically on 64-bit Windows. Try 32-bit and see if that works.
Found a profanity checker function (
https://naswii.nintendowifi.net/pr). Fun stuff. Send it a list of words and it sends back counts of how many of them are "banned" words, for what seems to be each of the major game regions.

Take it as a sign man, it was not meant to be. Sell it all and buy some Golf clubs, preferably from Cobra which have great clubs to offer.
Take Golf lessons and start playing, you'll love it! I can't wait till the Golf season starts again so I can go out and score big time.
Yep. It wasn't really Nintendo's fault and they can't patch the games that use it right now so all they can do is stand back and watch.
Or do the Riivolution style and release a "Online-Play Channel" on the Wii that patches the games like Riivolution to change the master servers
