Why get a cheap crappy monitor if you're going to spend that much?
COOLMAX is a no name brand . Do not buy a no name PSU (even the ratings are not so good)
Assuming you don't SLI two GTX 780Ti nor use large number of hard drive , Seasonic M12II 850W will be more than enough , 1000W is insane
Also , IPS monitor is a much better choice than TN monitor due to viewing angle and colours

Also, I wonder whether it's worth spending 80 bucks on an air cooler when you can get water for really not much more.
Because $80 gets you either a good air cooler or a cheap water cooler, and good air beats the pants off cheap water any day. With water cooling, it's either go big or go air.
I actually had considered an IPS monitor but the response times are usually 5ms and the TN I chose is 2ms. For gaming, should I get an IPS monitor nevertheless?
I favored an air cooler over a water cooler since it might be a bit of a hassle with installation and risk of leakage. Air cooling is easier. Is water cooling worth it?
And is the 1000W really too much? I'd like to add another GPU in the future and maybe some other upgrades. Extra doesn't seem bad to me.

Yes, 3 ms either way doesn't matter. TNs look like shit compared to IPSs. I'd also highly recommend getting a 1440p monitor. They don't cost that much (especially if you don't mind ordering one from korea), and the higher resolution is very nice.

Yes , if you use "eXtreme Power Supply Calculator" , 850W is plenty for Nvidia GTX 780ti in SLI
The problem is not the wattage but "no name brand"
A no name PSU doesn't last long . When it die , it will blow up some components ( may be GPU , may be mobo who know) .
