I saw that Dolphin Netplay had Wiimote support. I wanted to play NSMB with my friend, but I can't get past the loading screen, because the controller was a GameCube Controller. How do I make my controller the emulated wiimote?
Click the big Wiimote button in Dolphin's main UI then you'll see Wiimotes 1-4 with drop-down boxes next to them. There you can select Real, Emulated, or Hybrid Wiimotes. Click on the Configure button to then map inputs.

Yeah I already did that, but for some reason, for both me and my friend, in netplay, it becomes a gamecube controller and I can't seem to change it back to a Wiimote
Click the Config button and go to the Gamecube tab. Make sure that every Port has None in its drop-down box as the selected option.

Still the same thing D: . When I start the game without Netplay, it works perfectly. But when I use netplay for it, it gets stuck at the loading screen, since you only use Wiimotes for NSMB, and netplay tries to to use a gamecube controller.
Make sure you're using a build that supports Wiimote netplay. Which revision are you and your friend using?

We're both using 4.0.2, the one on the home page of the Dolphin website
You need to use something newer, it was added right after that.
