Dolphin, the GameCube and Wii emulator - Forums

Hi all,

I just wanted to know if there is any way to speed up the performance of Dolphin on my pc. Idk why but it isn't running games at 100% at 60/30 fps. I'm running dolphin 4.0.

Here are the specs of my pc:
OS: Windows 7 64-bit
Processor: Intel i5 4670k @ 4.2 gHz
Mobo: Gigabyte Z87-HD3
Gfx card: XFX R9 280X
RAM: XPG V2 8 gb
Case: Coolermaster HAF XB

Mario sunshine, wind waker, custom robo, vestigial joe, mario strikers, etc.

Try the latest dev build (4.0-905 as of writing).

Uninstall 4.0 stable, and then try a dev build.

Please post screenshots of your settings and something showing your CPU clock speed and temp during gameplay. Wind Waker should be running like a champ with all of that hardware.

Could you recommend some software for showing in game clock speed? And all my settings are the ones recommended by the performance guide

The slowdown only happens on games that run at 30 fps tops.. Any known problems about that?
