Full Version: Hey setting up calibration on a xbox controller.

Oh, no, you aren't supposed to move it or rename it. It's a system file, so it's supposed to stay where it was. Dolphin profiles are Dolphin-related code, and then Dolphin looks to the operating system for the data from the joystick, then remaps the inputs to something that Dolphin can use (I'm pretty sure that's how it works. Anyone care to give a better/proper explanation is welcome)

So put the joy.cpl back where it was, calibrate it again just to be sure, and then just use that profile I gave you

Okay I recalibrated it and the same error is plaguing my controller. Nothing changed this is so frusterating.
I just tried reinstalling my xbox wireless adapter thing and its giving me the error you already installed this after I deleted it. Hmm maybe we are getting closer to figuring this shit out.
Try uninstalling the Microsoft Accessory software, removing the drivers, and deleting the joy.cpl. Then try again from the beginning?
Hey I fixed it I had to reset all the buttons in the emulator and when I updated it it allowed my controller to do that
