I am currently running dolphin on windows 8 and it's all pretty flawless. One question I have though is If it's possible to use dx9 as the video backend. Currently I can only select between Direct3d, OpenGL and software render. I'd like to use directx9 because it won't break the custom texture packs that I'm using.

I understand that texture packs will work just fine with OpenGL but there's audio stuttering issues with OpenGL that I don't experience with direct3d.

Thanks for any help
D3d9 was recently removed: https://dolphin-emu.org/blog/2013/10/12/...ns-future/

If you want to continue using it there is an unofficial branch for that: https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-un...-dx9-final
BTW, OpenGL in the latest revisions should be faster than Direct3D (especially with the latest nVidia drivers)...
