1. I don't.
2. more than a 10 degrees difference?
3. I think I am!

I do take all your advice, just a lot of it I've already considered and checked. The only thing I haven't done is reinstall the OS which I really don't want to do if I can avoid it.
I think at this point you should cleanse your computers tortured soul with fire.

Well be sure. Which probes are you looking at?
On AMD overdrive I found out that it only shows the distance to the Thermal Margin and not the actual temperature. Even after I overclocked it's 40-50 degrees away from the thermal margin.

I't's overclocked now I just haven't had the chance to test it to see if it made any difference. But right after I did it I gave it a quick look and it seems to have helped.
Stop using AMD overdrive for temperature monitoring.
Oh my yes, I found it to be horrible at monitoring anything
It's literally the only program out of the half a dozen that is even close to a correct temperature.
What about CoreTemp?
I know I tried coretemp I just can't remember what the issue I had with it was. I'll check and report back.

Although CPU temp isn't an issue for me now, OC'ed at 4.4Ghz and don't appear to have any problems.
Try Realtemp out.

And for the best performance for your APU system, OCing the CPU and GPU are both a good way to start, but you see performance gains in high memory clocks.
Realtemp doesn't work with AMD CPU afaik
