Has anyone tested a Xeon CPU? They have considerably more L3 cache than your standard PC CPU. I'm curious how they'd benchmark compared to other CPUs of the same gen.
CPU: Intel Haswell i5 4670k @ 4GHz OC
OS: Windows 7
Time: 7 minutes 30 seconds

CPU: i5-2500k @4.4GHz
OS: Windows 8.1 x64
Time: 10 minutes, 22 seconds

This now crashes immediately every time I try to benchmark. Only thing I've changed is upgrading to beta drivers and based on the "Fault module name" is it safe to say that's likely the culprit here? Thanks.

I have, got an E3 1230 V3 (Haswell)

CPU: Intel E3 1230 V3 @ 3.3GHz turbo boosts up to 3.7GHz
OS: Windows 7 64-bits
Time: 8 minutes and 40 seconds

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo T9300 @ 2.5 GHz
OS: Mac OS X
Time: 24 min 51 sec

CPU: i7-4770k @ 4.6GHz
OS: Windows 8
Time: 6 minutes, 58 seconds

CPU: i5-4670k @4.0 GHz OC (yes, I know it's a lame OC, I just haven't been bothered to try harder =P)
OS: Win7 SP1 x64
Time: 7 minutes, 38 seconds

Edit: Should I do a benchmark at stock speed as well? Because OCs can vary, and not everyone is willing to OC.

Hello,

I tried to run the bench but Dolphin crashes....
What can I give to report ?
I know that it will never make a Wii game work... (over heat then secure shutdown occurs Wink )
CPU: i5-M480 @2.67Ghz (laptop)
OS: Win7 SP1 x64 home

4Gb ram, Nvidia GeForce GT330M...

Hi,

i just changed my GPU from a AMD R9 280x to an old GTX 285 because i had to RMA the 280x and now when i open "povray.elf" dolphin crashes with no error message.
In the exceptioninfo.txt i get:
Unhandled Exception
Code: 0xC0000005
Call stack info:
0x00000000 : ?
0x5D50BD9B : ?

Drivers installed are the latest.
When i change the Renderer to Direct3D, dolphin won't crash but the window stays black(The window title shows 0 FPS and VPS at 60-64).
The weird thing is, i tried several games and none of them crashed/gave me a black window(tried Zelda WW, Super Mario Sunshine, Soul Calibur 2, Mario Kart Wii)

Specs:
AMD Phenom II X4 955 3,2Ghz
GTX 285
8gb ddr2
