Should we be indulgent with people using 3.0 because it's overall faster than 3.5? What about 2.0? Hell, I want my plugins back!

Not everyone can enjoy recent versions of the emulator, due to hardware requirements, that's what I was thinking of.

You're a bit excessive here :p. I was just refering to the specific case of new AX-HLE

New Ax Hle hasn't slowed down the emulation that much, it mainly made the already lower than normal performance easily noticable by the user. There is a huge difference between the two. I even got bored saying it. In a sense low end requirements (for a pleasurable experience with dolphin) increased and high end dropped at the same time by new ax hle. With adequate performance the change is as good as non existant performance wise.

We're not interested in providing support for these people on our official forums. End of the story, this has been the rule for a long time and there are some good reasons that I'm definitely willing to re-explain to you if they aren't already clear.
I don't really have much to add to this hence my lack of additional replies. If users want support with older builds there are always emulation communities such as Ngemu, Emutalk, 1Emulation that can provide that support. However it is highly likely even though they'll be able to receive support they'll be told anyway to use the latest official or dev builds or upgrade their hardware/os.
