Everytime I play using the DolphinMote for Android my router loses connection with ISP when I close the application on the cellphone.
Is that a known issue?
My wifi network is configured with a TP-Link TL-WR1043ND connecting to the internet via PPPoE.
Thanks in advance.
Hi
My first post - have to say I'm very impressed with Dolphin, great work (even on my pretty poor laptop).
I've been attempting to use Dolphinmote. Everything works fine except the accelerometer to control a game. I can see that moving my phone (Yeap it's android Samsung S3) effects the pointer in the emulated wii, but does not control action in the game.
Happy to expand on details if anyone thinks they can help.
Thanks again.
if you read the first post, the accelerometer has not been implemented, only the gyroscope.so you cant use IR function ,only the buttons and tilt functons of the wiimote is available
Yes sorry I meant gyro, anyhow I've downloaded a different build and all is well (besides keys mapped incorrectly but I can live with that).
Thanks

Glad to see this being developed. Works fine on my S4.
it's been a long time since irtimmer updated dolphimote and he hasn't been online since then, any dev out there willing to pick up this app for further development.

In it's current state you can use the buttons and accelerometer. Source code is released under the GPLv3 and available on https://github.com/irtimmer/dolphinmote
It has no configuratie screen but detects Dolphin using the sended broadcast messages.
Binaries are available from

Working
- Buttons
- Accelerometer
- Dolphin Broadcast detection
Not working
- IR
- Nunchuck
- Nunchuck accelerometer
Can anyone tell me what version works on LG G2 or how to make it work? i used 0.5 and i couldn't get past custom connection, 0.4 worked but can't use the cursor properly.
The app is long dead any newer apps i can't find yet.

you should set up a wifi hotspot that allows local networking and make sure the port your version of dolphin uses for udpwii arent closed by your firewall.try to block internet access on the hotspot until dolphinmote finds your pc.dolphinmote will find your pc when you open the wiimote config window or start a game with udpwii active.note dolphinmote doesnt supprot IR control(what most people use their mouse to control) and only the acceleration and motion sensors can be used, making only tilt and shake effects on the IR cursor.
The app is long dead, sometime after 4.0 it was dropped.
Hi, can i download the source code and recompile it? so that we can use it to android 6.0.
thanks.
