so i got my new PC
AMD FX 6300 3.5Ghz
8GB RAM
GeForce GTX 650 Ti Boost 2GB DDR5

is it good enough to play Wii and gamecube games??
It's hard to answer Yes or No
If you want a straight answer : No , it's too weak for most games , light-weight games are playable though . If you want more games to be playable , you will have to overclock (Recommend : 4.4GHz). Keep in mind that all current AMD CPU have poor single threaded performance . Since Dolphin is a dual core application , FX-6300 @ 4.5GHz stand no chance against the outdated i5 2400 @ 3.4GHz in Dolphin and i5 2400 is slower than i3 4130 @ 3.4GHz which cost about the same price as FX 6300
See Dolphin Benchmark
The recommended CPU for demanding games is i5 4670k , not i3 4130 though...
However it's all boil down to your experience in the end , not "FX-6300 is good enough for you or not" but rather "Can you deal with slowdown , audio stuttering or not"
Depends on the game. Many games will run well. Many won't.
