But nobody does that anymore either. Even if you do everything completely legally and by the books there are plenty of video streaming services like hulu plus, netflix, amazon prime, etc. out there that will work with virtually any device. I haven't ripped a DVD in years.

Luckily I live in a country where it's legal to download copyrighted movies from the internet, so in some sense I'd say I'm living in the future and you're stuck in the past
