I've played a handful of GameCube games and when I check Intel Extreme Tuning Utility to see the temperatures and how many cores are being used, it is always 1.
Does it depend on the game?

Make sure in the games´ properties that the setting (Dual-Core) is not overriden by making sure it´s checked as a filled square.

It could be that you're using Turbo Boost at it's highest frequency, which on some models means all but one core is disabled (to reduce heat). That sounds pretty likely. Check your BIOS and try disabling Turbo Boost.Hi Shonumi,
Also, what does Windows Task Manager say about all of this?
