Hi there!
Last night i installed Dolphin 4.0.2 on a new computer. Then i tried Gottlieb Pinball Classics and Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection. Aying them at first both of them did run just fine, but after trying them a few times the Gottlie one started to behave strange...it got crackling sound, and when pressing the keys, the flippers goes bananas...like they have autofire. The Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection still run as it should without any issues.
I use the emulated Wii as controller.
Anyone been into this kind of problem?
New computers sometimes don't ship with the latest drivers. Look for any driver updates, and check the directx web updater, and visual c++ updates

Nvidia drivers aswell as the DirectX drivers are ok...but it may be the c++.
The strange thing is, that it worked like the five first starts...then failed.
The other Pinball Hall of Fame, works just fine, and both of them is from Farsight.
Yeah, get the latest visual c++ if its not installed. And did you run the directx web updater to be sure? Sometimes not all of the older parts are installed.
Also, make sure you're in high performance mode for windows and nvidia.

I did install both 2008 and 2010 c++ redistributable, but i didnt do any difference....still the same problem.
Is settings of each game stored in the registry or something!??!
Try the 2012 also
Can you post pictures of your Graphics Config pages? Lets see what you have turned on....
Did you try one of the latest dev builds?
Are you trying to use savestates? They can be funky sometimes. As a last test, try moving the Dolphin folder from "My Documents" to the desktop so that Dolphin wont have any old files loading.

It was something in the documentsfolder....when i removed it the flippers went back to normal!
Now i just have to get rid of the crackling sound, but i guess thats about to tweak the options.
Huge thanx for the help KHg8m3r.
Switch the audio backed to OpenAL, and then increase the latency a bit at a time to see if that fixes it. If not, try the others (Dsound is pretty good right now)

OpenAL fixed the sound.
Haha....the wierd thing is, that the crazy flipper came back after some starts of the Gottlieb pinball...and it is just this game, no others. No i know how to fix it, but removing all the folders also resets all the settings.
Well, if you can post your graphics config pages, maybe there's something that can be changed so you don;t need to keep doing that.
