Dolphin, the GameCube and Wii emulator - Forums

Hi this is my feedback to newest version of dolphin emulator so here is my story:

I tested Alvin and the chipmunks chipwrecked on dolphin version svn r 6262 and speed on main menu was 85% or 100% sometimes but speed in game was ONLY 16% but only music was playing in normal speed and everything was out of sync

then i tested stable 3.0 and 3.5 and many other dev versions and result was same as above

Next i tested 4.0 and 4.1 and speed was still 16% but nothing was out of sync

and in dev version 4.0-436 speed in main menu was 100% and speed in game was 66% (really big improvement if you ask me) and strange thing is when playing normally speed is 66% (screenshot:http://imm.io/1lxSu) but when i open right click menu in dolphin window speed is suddenly 92% ???????? (screenshot:http://imm.io/1lxTq)

and now with newest stable version 4.0.2 and newest dev version 4.0-481 speed is again 16%

So this means that 4.0-436 has best speed in this game

I hope developers will see this and bring speed from 4.0-436 to 4.0.2 and that they will fix problems with this game and make emulator run faster on this game.

Not exactly. Best speed for your setup yes. If you dont mind what are your system specs.Also would not hurt to screen shot your config screens.

3GB ram Ati (Amd) Radeon hd 6470m 1GB and Intel Core i3 M 390 2.67GHZ

But i dont think that is problem my gpu usage is 20% and cpu is 40% and i remember some other peoples on forum also had speed problems in this game.
