I am having a problem with slight input lag on my analog stick in SSBM. The problem is not with my adapter, as Windows reads input from my controller with almost no lag. I recreated this problem on two separate machines with different graphics cards and different graphics backends. I went to the character selection screen and moved the pointer around with my analog stick. Compared to console, the emulator pointer is delayed by a small amount (~150 ms is a guess). I didn't notice any input lag on other buttons, but that may be because the lag is so slight. When adding to the lag from netplay, the delay becomes noticeable enough to be annoying.

Here are the graphics settings I'm using on one computer. I don't have access to the other one at the moment.

I don´t want to be obnoxious, but what does the graphic settings have to do with the controller input?
What you really need to post is the controller settings (a screenshot of the GC pad settings).

Could have specified, but because there isn't any option for lag on the controller config page, I'm looking for other areas where the could be lag in the emulator.
His CPU is towards the slower side, but shouldn't be having issues with Melee, so the next step would be to look into how his graphics config is setup to see if there's any slowdown there.
Try enabling OpenMP Texture decoder. It can give a boost.
Also make sure your computer is in high performance mode under power management in control panel.
1- Do what KHg8m3r said. It may work.
2- If it doesn´t, check the limit number in the buttons section of GC pad settings. It shouldn´t be more than 50.

Hey I complete understand this concern I get this one all the time. My answer is not specific to dolphin so maybe this is not relevant. The video is what you see, its how your brain understands lag. When most people talk about input lag they actually mean frame lag. Input is second to video because even if the input is lagging a few ms behind the video will not render that till the next frame.
I tried everything KHg8m3r recommended, but it did not help. Also, my button threshold is set to 50. I'm confused why I had this problem on two separate computers; is there a possibility this is working as intended? Maybe Dolphin is intentionally adding a buffer for some reason? Could it be the ISO I'm using or the version of Dolphin (which is specifically designed for netplay)? I also have this problem on an older version of Dolphin (3.5-2468); however, I believe that one is also netplay-oriented. I have attached a picture of my controller settings so you can make sure I didn't set it up incorrectly. It's also strange that I only notice this problem on the analog stick. I am certain there is a delay because of my comparison to the game on console, but again, the delay is quite small.

Under config, what do you have your frame limit set to?
Are you getting the lag during netplay, or when it's just you playing by yourself.
Frame limit is set to "Auto". The lag occurs when I emulate locally. I am getting consistent 60 FPS on the character selection screen on which I experience the delay.
