So I've used Dolphin 3.5 for a while and I have a GC controller plugged into my computer through a GC -> USB adapter. It works great. However since I installed 4.0 I can't even configure my controller because it won't detect it. I've tried every one of the drop downs and the bottons don't respond to any of them. If I load up 3.5 it works fine, but not in 4.0.

Any ideas?
Which USB adapter? I know for a fact Mayflash and Raphnet work fine for any version of Dolphin.

I don't know the brand. It's this one.
Oh well. I guess I'm stuck using Dolphin 3.5 for now.
What about 3.5?

That's what I'm using, sorry my mistake for putting 3.0. Works fine in 3.5.
That is a mayflash adapter. I have seen often time where the gpad.ini had to be deleted. Remember in 4.0 the folders have moved.
If it is not because of the folder move in 4.0, then reconfiguring the controller again should make it work fine.

How does this help the fact that 4.0 won't even detect that my controller is there? I can't even reconfigure it from scratch because when I press any of the buttons on the controller 4.0 Doesn't detect anything as if the controller isn't even plugged in.
Did you install a driver for that adapter? On the may flash site they have a list of updated drivers for there products. I know it seems like its a dolphin issue but I work with so many adapters and dolphin is really good at supporting them all. I dont know if they still support that model but look here.
