This is a review that was done because someone is trying to create a specific program , a Big-Emulator for all nintendo consoles or some sh** like that.
You mean like an emulator collection pack? I don't think he would be able to create an emu that runs all games, without the source code of all the emulators. (Or he's just making a program that executes the normal exe of the emus depending on what game is chosen?)
Anyway, so he "hired" people over the internet to review the emulators for him, but wouldn't reveal his identity to them? Sounds very fishy.

if i overclock my P4 to 3.2ghz it wont go fullspeed
yea, that's why he said

, also, testing it is really a pain for me as i have to bitch people around to try on the net with me etc.
it makes it really annoying to test changes, so i kind of gave up a little while ago
well i could contribute to your testing

, just as soon as i get the video card that i'm getting next week

how about no?
disable the SSE4 on a dual core that has it with the same cache as mine (1MB) and believe me
3.2 will run slow

i have a 2.3 ghz athlon mobile x2 and i run windwaker fullspeed inside and about 2/3 speed outside... so a 3.2ghz intel core 2 duo will run fullspeed unless you are an idiot and turn a bunch of crap settings on

go look up its cache/flags compared with a P4 prescot

its the cache/flags that make modern cpu's more awesome then a Pentium D/P4 prescot
not the speed
mine is an Intel Dual-Core at 3.2GHz has no SSE4 and 2MB of L2 cache and my games run great

(goes to show that my cpu sure is a low budget Core 2 cpu

)
Not even only Speed/Cache/SSE/Flag matters, even the architecture makes a great performance boost. There where a test somewhere - a C2D compared with a CD (CoreDuo) at exact same speed, cache, and whatever... the C2D was 20 % faster only cause of its architecture...
So, even if you disable one core of a C2D, set the clock to the value of and older CPU and decrease the C2Ds cache to its sice(isn't possible i know^^), the C2D would be much faster...
can someone tell me the best NDS emu out at the moment? Just point me in the right direction

hm but nosound said no$gba is outdated...is that all there is?
