Hi everyone,
I have a big problem and I hope someone can help me, please Sad
My dolphin x86 (every version) won't load my savestates for ssbb. In around 2 of 3 cases dolphin crashes and show me the following massage:
"An unhandled exception occurred. Press 'abort' to terminate the program, 'retry' to exit the program normally and 'ignore' to try to continue."
It doesn't matter what I choose. Dolphin crashes every time.
It just happen when I try to load the states, to save them works fine.

My system is a windows x86 with an intel core i5-750 with 2,66GHz. The video card is a Nvidia GeForce GT230 and it has a 4096MB DDR3 memory.

I hope someone have any ideas why this problem occures and how to solve it.

PS: I'm from Germany and my english isn't perfect so I apologize for every mistake I've done ^^
They are likely corrupt and unusable

I don't think so, because when I start dolphin again and try to load the same savestate again, it often works. At least for the first time.
And it happens with new savestates too.
Savestates may work or may not work. You shouldn't rely too much on them.

Btw in this game in-game saves are more than enough IMO

Around 2 months ago savestates worked perfectly. But since then it gets worse and worse every time I try to load one....

When you want to do tas-videos savestates are more than important for this game Smile
Savestates usually do not work different versions of Dolphin. Plus, they are often unstable and can cause issues. It is absolutely important to stick to game saves as much as possible, and only rely on savestates for short term stuff.
Loading save states sometimes causes dolphin to crash randomly. It's not a problem with the save states themselves, and restarting dolphin and loading them will work just fine. It should be quite rare though, and not a serious hindrance. Unfortunately that does make it annoying to debug...
Can you load the game and wait for a while (don't load a save state immediately) then load a save state? In my experience, save states are very stable. I think I have created them more than thousand times already and I haven't had any issue yet. Except that if I load a save state immediately after loading a game, I often have a problem.
That should be fixed in recent versions.

Like I said. It crashes more than 50% so it IS quite often ^^

I made the same experimence, so I always wait a few seconds every time I start a game or load another savestate. But that has nothing to do with my problem.

I use 4.0 and it's the newest version as far as I know.
