@Ethos You should do a little research before complaining
The latest Dolphin is more accurate than the Dolphin 3.0 , more accuracy = less performance in most case . The reason why you get poor performance with latest Dolphin is CPU bottlenecking . U stand for ultra low power which is not recommended for Dolphin
You should buy i7 4700MQ instead
Dolphin still use dedicated GPU even if it doesn't show up at Dolphin setting
Direct3d9 has been removed , the current direct3d is direct3d11

It is though. It's not like requirements for other programs (PC games, Operating Systems, certain photo and video editors) don't go up over time as well. Dolphin has been no different over the past few years, although recent developments are bringing decent speedups. Even so, Dolphin basically performs many more steps to emulate the GC and Wii now than 3.0 ever did, thus it's going to require higher resources in most scenarios. Slow PCs are going to emulate slowly though; there's not getting around that.

And DEFO it funs much better with 750 than HD 4400!

This is a known issue with integrated GPUs. You have to manually set things up through Nvidia's control panel rather than have Dolphin try to set the GPU. Folllow admin89's instructions in this thread: https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-unofficial-laptop-performance-guide
For the people complaining that the emulator is bad because old versions run faster than current ones, this may sound quite rude but it's the truth: your PC/laptop sucks and there isn't anything you can do other than getting a better one. Please guys, STOP screaming like little childs, I'm pretty sure the devs don't care about you and you wouldn't get any speed problems if your system specs met the minimum Dolphin requirements from current builds.

Also, if Dolphin is bad, why are you using it? Go to another GC/Wii emulator, let's see if you can find another option that can run almost any commercial games at full speed. If the old Dolphin builds are better, why you don't just shut up and stick with them? Just keep in mind that we'll not hear your screams when you find a issue already solved in current development builds Dodgy
