Full Version: legend of zelda wind waker buttons aren't working

hello im new to this emulator thing and i wana play legend of zelda but when i start the game up it says press start now ive started the game before and ran perfect (besides the frame rate) and i went into fullscreen and couldnt get back out cuz i didnt know what button it was to exit fullscreen (i know now) so i command + Q-ed to close it then i reopened it and when i went to press enter (return for mac) nothing happened it and it ran smoothly its just i couldnt get past the enter screen (also my frame rate goes really slow out side then when i go inside some house it go to 100 fps then im like flash and i speed around everywhere cuz my fps is so good inside) any ideas on how to fix these 2 problems? thanks. EDIT: im also a huge loz fan so if i wasnt, i wouldnt be postin this. hope you can help Smile i have a mac book pro with 2gs of ram ummm i think its 64 bit i have no idea idk how to figure this out thats mostly all i know if you can tell me how to get more info please list instruction thanks.

EDIT #2:well i found out none of my buttons are working so any ideas???????????????????????????
Post your pc specs and settings per the forum rules or no one will help you.
More specifically, post a picture of your GCPad settings. Additionally, make sure that you've set Port 1 to Standard Controller (click the Config button, go to the Gamecube tab).

Have you verified that port 1 is set as a standard controller as Shonumi suggested?

Edit: Also for the other thing about your cpu. Click the apple in the top left and click "about this mac" then "more info" I think. I'm not a mac user.

Try enabling Background Input.
