Cycle-Accurate Nintendo 64 Simulator would be very slow.. The Cycle-Accurate bsnes emulator requires

a 3Ghz Processor .. then include RSP .. it be unplayable .

Did you even open the link? It had the word plugin spread over it like 20 times >_>

Of course I did, why do you think I said that I think that it has nothign to do with plugins? (at lest in the why other n64 emus work)

N-rage ftw?
I installed Project 64 2.1 which for some-reason came with Delta-search Toolbar (malware)
why would an Emulator even include Malware is beyond a Joke..... The fact that "PJ64" between 1.6 to 2.1 have being asking for Donations for nearly a decade .. yet there is no major code-changes between 1.6 and 2.1 and the emulation seems to be less accurate.
It has in option not to install it for a reason

it should even exist in the first place , it's deceitful, Idiot PJ64 team placed Viruses/Spyware
into its Installers, I still can't get rid of it.

Higan (formerly BSNES) runs lemmings at 45-58 FPS on accuracy mode on a first-generation Pentium D @ 3.0 GHz , and gets full speed in balanced mode. On a more modern CPU there's significant overhead. It may not be as hard as you expect (although I still wouldn't put money on fullspeed with any CPU currently available just yet).

Did you try uninstalling? I don't think it's that difficult to remove.

In the future before clicking OK, you should review what are going to be installed.

Qaazavaca Qaanic

I would make an ad-free installer for it, except I'm too lazy, and maybe the ridiculous copyright problem. Also, try using Universal Extractor, which may work for pj64. I agree that they are assholes.
And also you waqnt the n-rage 2.something by squall leonhart?, not 1.something. From experience, every time you start a ROM in pj64, you need to go to settings and check XInput, Every Single Time. Fortunately, it does save the keymappings properly. If not, I would be hatemailing the coder. </sarcasm>
Edit: Oh. About as evil as jdownloader.
Just fyi pj64 is open source
And, a.f.a.i.k. PJ64 setup doesn´t have anything related with ads or promotions or something. Maybe you got it from the wrong site? Or you just got an embedded installer of it?

EDIT: Ok. Yes, it has an ad of a stupid toolbar which only works to wreck anyone´s PC; but like ExtremeDude2 said it has a CUSTOM option that you can use to disable the toolbar´s installer. :S
