Dolphin, the GameCube and Wii emulator - Forums

I created a movie recording for the game Mario Kart Wii (with Emulation > Start Recording), however whenever I try to play it back it shows this error message:
"Warning. Fatal desync. Aborting playback. (Error in PlayWiimote: 0 != 4, byte 293.) Try re-creating the recording with all GameCube controllers disabled (in Configure > Gamecube > Device Settings)."
The thing is, I didn't use a Wiimote, I used an emulated GameCube controller . I have done this before on a different recording before and it worked fine...
Please help.

You did use a wiimote if you got that error, whether you realized it or not. Remake it, but set wiimote sources all to none.
