Hi there! so me and my friend are trying to play Project m (the ssbb hack) And we can netplay regular brawl perfectly no desync or anything! The problem is..to start Project M we have to click on the Boot elf but it does not show up under the games browser..so is there any way to choose the boot.elf? Or make it shown so that we can start it? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Were also using 3.5 (we tried seeing if 4.0 would show but nope no luck) Thanks again!
I'm not sure if soft resets will work over netplay, but you could try this:

Both of you should put this in your game folder. Tell us if it works. Smile
Try using a current development build from here: https://dolphin-emu.org/download/

Oh, Whoops I missed that. I should try to read things thoroughly before I post. All I saw was 4.0 and was like o.k. XD
Project M works over Netplay, soft resets even work over netplay. It's just too complicated to be worthwhile and actually sync up due to how complicated it is to setup Brawl for netplay in the first place then you have to add in the ridiculous setup for Project M.
Yes it worked just fine thank you all Big Grin
Wait, thereanimetor, you got Brawl working on Netplay? I can't for the life of me get it to sync up. Can you explain what steps you go through in order to get it to sync up?
From what I have heard brawl will even sync with dual core for 1 match

Yes Brawl works fine for me and my friend for how ever long we want to play (weve gone really long over hour and a half) o.o..I mean..we dont do anything different then what the netplay guide says (except checking audio frame limit) But i mean the way we connect is using Hamachi instead of port forwarding.. :o.. Hell we get Zero frame drops as well ^_^
I'm thoroughly confused. Okay, thanks for clearing that up, apparently there is a way to make Brawl work, I just haven't figured it out. Thanks!
