I had Dolphin 3.5 before i upgraded to 4.0 when i started 4.0 I started having a issue where after about 5 minutes of playing it would crash saying something went wrong. x86 is one i have and my desktop is windows 8 x64 did i download wrong version?
I also downloaded dolphin 4.0 x64 and had same issues

IIRC, 4.0 has a bug wherein a limited number of users may experience crashing. At any rate, always try the latest development revision if you find yourself encountering an issue.
Pokemon colosseum, fire emblem path of radiance, final fantasy crystal chronicles, star fox assault, star fox adventures.
Btw those are the 2 i downloaded 4.0 off of and neither worked. I still have 3.5 saved so just started it up again only issue is with the sound on it
4.0 is a stable build, not the latest development build. The latest development build is 4.0-107:

Like I said, the stable 4.0 has a bug where certain users may crash under limited conditions. 4.0-107 should have solved that by now.

Well the first link ya gave me was 4.0 lol i'll try the latest hopefully it works
I tried this one out have same issue it stops working about 5 minutes into the game

Shonumi gave you the good link. You just had to scroll down for Development builds

The Link and download were fine it was playing the emulator i am having issues with both 4.0 and both developmental builds refused to work longer than 5 minutes on my desktop. I have 3.5 so i can still play but would love a upgrade since sound always messed up on 3.5
