[attachment=9789]I am having problems getting my Bluetooth device to recognize my wii remote. I have tried using windows native software it doesn't recognize it and I read that I should install Toshiba Bluetooth software. Comes back sayin unable to detect remote device. This is the dongle model USB 2.0 Bluetooth V2.0 EDR Dongle Wireless Adapter. if anyone could help me it would great its driving me mad lol
If your Wiimote isn't recognized at all the problem probably comes from your BT adapter

So should I buy another BT adapter then could you recommend 1 so it doesn't happen againSmile
I'll post mine as example.
There's a list somewhere on the forum with some compatible dongles but I failed to find it. You'll have to search a bit Tongue

hi sorry to bother you but im having trouble with my Hama Nano Bluetooth USB Adapter 2.1 +EDR. Is there something you have to configure it be4 it recognizes the wii remote when I plug it in it doesn't install any software or anything like my last Bluetooth dongle if you could help me id really appreciate it lol.
Is it a wii remote plus?

Hama BT adapters work perfectly with Toshiba stack (even if BlueSoleil is often provided with them Tongue ).
So you'll have to install Toshiba stack first. Don't plug your dongle. Plug it only when you're asked to. Make sure to uninstall any other BT stack before. And unplug your old dongle of course. When everything's ready then try to sync your Wiimote

im not sure I brought it of ebay it just says wii remote my blue tooth device doesn't reconise it anyway
Link please? If you bought it of ebay I suspect it is third-party, and those don't usually work
