You can´t overclock a smartphone CPU nor GPU.

EDIT: You can overclock THE CPU, only. (Xperia case). Anyway, why would anyone like to do O.C. to a smartphone? Looking ahead to wreck it? Or just making a "smart-fry"*?

ADD 1: There´s no intention of being obnoxious or something.

ADD 2: Smart-fry: a fried (or cooked with oil) smartphone. Tongue

Sorry buddy you are misinformed I've overclocked the cpu and gpu previously on my Galaxy Note 2, and you can do the same on the Xperia Z Ultra, you just need a custom kernel which supports the feature. Such a kernel has just become available.

You need to do more research before you assert your opinion as fact. My Xperia Play's cpu and gpu can be overclocked. I have mine oc'd to 1.7ghz from 1ghz and it's doing just fine. (I change the clocks when i don't need that power of course. It's usually at 1.2ghz)
Aftershocker, I've also got Ultra Smile what build you've used in that Mario video and what driver you have? Is it v45? I've tried build 4.0-173, all the textures was sort of washed out (but worked with es3 backend) and fastmem fc probably due to .532 kernel, I'm on stock
I used build 3.5-2450 for all the video's in this thread, Apart from the last Luigi's mansion one. And yes it the v45 driver on the stock 532 Sony Rom.

Theres a problem with later builds that stops you getting past the initial screens in SMS and mario Kart which is gutting as most of the graphical glitches now seem to be ironed out...

However if you want to play around with Luigi's mansion It seems to be working perfectly in build 4.0-194 Its not full speed obviously but the emulation itself seems perfect. Oh and Twilight Princess seems ok on this build as well.. Make sure you have EFB copy to RAM enabled in Twilight Princess.
I've managed to bypass black initial screens in build 4.0-223 in SMS and wind walker with small workaround. You have to use JITIL till the game starts make savestate, exit, switch to JIT and load JITIL state.
Nice I'll remember that going forward. Upload the save states if you get chance.. :-)

in a case player doesn't work: http://youtu.be/Y6O3EtTJlJc
Nice thanks for the savestates..

Also if you enable EFB Copy in the Hacks section SMS should work without the graphical glitch.
