Sure, the CPU may not be the absolute best one of the series but I don't want to overclock anyways, plus I would be able to afford a nice GPU too!

What do you guys think?

It's a tradeoff. Better GPU, but that CPU has a locked multiplier I think so you won't be able to overclock and therefore run the games you've specified at full speed. If you want to PC game, this is a nice rig and it'll do some Dolphin games too.

Hmmm... in that case, I guess I'd have to go with the IGPU only build. Actually, I have a GIGABYTE NVIDIA GT 440 1GB 128-bit card in the computer I'm currently using (I wanted it for this Pentium 4 build that I'm using, I thought it would make some PC games run faster, I obviously didn't know very much about computers back then). Would that do? I know it's a bit old, but it's 128-bit so maybe it will still be good enough to run games at their normal resolution? How would it perform paired with the 4670k?

Also, I think I'm gonna consider purchasing the same components on Amazon instead of Newegg, after some research I heard their service is terrible.

Okay, I guess their service isn't TERRIBLE, I just heard that other retailers have better service, like Amazon. Also I like the cheaper prices.

99% of the time newegg offers better service and prices. I've found maybe 1 or 2 products ever that were cheaper on amazon after shipping costs.

It actually runs better than some of the newer cards when it comes to Dolphin. The memory bandwidth is decently high. I'd expect 2.5xIR with this card. I think it will perform better than the integrated HD4600 with the 4670K.

Price is obviously a factor, and you might find the components for less on Amazon. I would say on average that Newegg's service is better. I've had a couple of problems in all of my hundreds of orders with them, one or or two were serious, but they've always resolved them to my satisfaction. Newegg's main strength is speed of packing and shipping.

Naughty naughty. I typically don't buy Asus, so I'd never know. I almost always buy Gigabyte or MSI boards.

Funny you should say that, I got all my desktop parts from them and never had a single issue with customer service. Amazon has good service too, but Newegg is for computer parts.

I would also like to know: is it necessary to overclock the 4670k in order to play games at full speed? I just looked up some stuff on overclocking, and it seems kind of risky.

If so, would another cooling system be necessary (one besides the stock fan that comes with the CPU) as well? If that is the case, would anyone care to recommend one? I just don't want my CPU to break/burn out since I would only have one other computer to use (which is the one I'm currently using, which sucks BTW).
