Dolphin, the GameCube and Wii emulator - Forums

I have dumped the DSP files and i put then in sys/GC they are also named dsp_coef and dsp_rom.
I assume this is all correct but it still says i'm using the free version so do they need to be placed somewhere else? i used these files in 3.5 and they worked fine.

EDIT: after restarting the emulator a bunch of times and replacing the files a bunch of times they finally work.

Put them in User/GC

The path is changed in 4.0?

@O.P.: so, how did you do with the files? Do they work good now?

That's where it has belonged since the free rom was made.

In Dolphin 4.0 zip files, dsp_coef.bin and dsp_rom.bin are in Sys\GC.

That's right. Your dumps from a console belong in user/gc though.

Yea they work fine now they where just not working for some reason for quite some time.

Protip: You should never need to touch anything in Sys. Files in User will override the corresponding files in Sys.
