Don't take the Evo 840. It has speed issues which Samsung has not been able to resolve. You should find a lot on it online.
Oh yeah, looked into theat, there still seems to be some problems with it. That just further cements my idea to get the MyDigital, since AAndtech gave it a good review.
Getting an SSD is a good idea. No hardware change (not even a completely new computer after 7 years) ever made such a big difference. Maybe not so much in games but in Windows, with pretty much everything, especially multi-tasking. Wouldn't have thought an SSD could do that, but yeah, it's bliss.
I upgraded my grandparent's computer with an SSD ($40), a new CPU ($10 for a Core Duo used), and Windows XP -> 7 for Christmas and now it's way faster than ever. That's what made me interested in upgrading mine.
So I've been looking at getting a Windows tablet for light web browsing, netflix, etc. I've been looking at the
HP Stream 7 mainly. At $91 I think it's a steal but I'm open to any suggestions because I'm just not sure what's the best buy for these Windows tablets. They all seem to have identical specs with a few trade offs depending on the tablet. So does anyone have a Win8 tablet and if so, what do you think? and What would you recommend?
Go for it . It's only $79 on Microsoft Store though...
@KHg8m3r
Get the 850 evo/pro. Nothing can touch it in bang for your buck.
@garrlker
For that price it can't be beat but if you're willing to pay a bit more ($100-200) there are much better options imo.
After 4 years of life my 560ti shows signs of dying, at first i had the impression that it was a virus but now after a lot of visual artifacts in windows aero and constant driver recoveries i don`t think there is room for something else. Unfortunately there is no guarantee any more and i will have to pay to buy a new one. Made a quick look at available video cards and i am pretty disappointed by the progress 4 years later, for similar money i payed back then i can get a 960 with just about 2x the performance, or get a 750ti with just slightly better performance than the 560ti with 150euros. Sigh, i didn't want to pay any money to electronics right now...
Get the 960. I need more maxwell benchmark results.

Ok so today me and my SO we're talking about it and she said why don't we just wait till my B-day and buy one with whatever we've saved up. We've already been saving and have $180 so far and will have between 3 and 4 hundred by the time my birthday gets here, so for around $350 what's the best bang for buck Windows tablet or 2in1 laptop?
