What gaming mouse do you guys recommend using?

I've been looking at some Logitech gaming mouses but the one I want is $80. Is that normal?

My mouse is a Sharkoon Drakonia. 5000DPI, up to 1000Hz polling rate and lots of buttons. It cost me 25€.
A better and more expensive version has been released recently, and it has 8200DPI.

I use that button at the base as the W key. I call it "the lazy button".
NV recommended me the logitech G500 and it is amazing. If you want a great durable mouse with a lot of functionality and don't care about look go for it.
^ This. I bought a G500 a year ago and have utterly adored it.
They're out of stock on newegg and cost too much on Amazon. The updated version costs less and looks pretty good. (At least in my opinion) http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Gaming-Adjustable-Weight-Tuning/dp/B00CJD4HD2/ref=dp_ob_title_ce
Yeah, I wasn't saying it looks bad, but it doesn't have all of the flashy-ness and LEDs some mice have. It's a great mouse. Speaking of peripherals, what gaming keyboards can you all recommend? I'm still using an office keyboard and I think it's time I put some money down on a decent keyboard.

Budget ?
If you want a mechanical gaming keyboard which is expensive -> Search "cherry MX" via newegg or amazon
If you wait for next gen mechanical gaming keyboard , Cherry MX RGB will be a better route
I don't understand the appeal of backlit keyboards. Who the heck looks at their keyboard ever?
People who don't know how to type
