thank you for mentioning the translators. this release note is clear and informative, i love it.
many of thegfw's translations are updated now, but we would have had a hard time without his effort...
i'm amazed that lxf2000 did such a great job since he just joined the team a month ago.
i really did little for the zh-tw translation as i haven't been to taiwan at all (although it's so close to zh-cn) and was wondering whether to quit that team. so i'm really abashed to be listed as the taiwanese translator.
i'm not good at saying those congratulation words, but all in all, everyone is devoting themselves to this great emulator, which makes it even better~

I'm not a mod of /r/dolphinemulator either. Please don't call any of your personal initiatives "official" if they are not approved by people from the dev team.
Found an issue with the installer, the silent DirectX install include only XInput DLLs. On a fresh install of Windows, it'll still complain about XAudio2 and DX9/DX11 DLLs missing, making Dolphin crash... Couldn't this be addressed by 4.0.1 too?

Ok, I'll try to fix that. Do you have the name of the DLLs?
Someone should probably add the 4.0 download and 4.0 source archive to the Google Code download section at some point.
I'm not sure if all of those DLLs are used at the same time, but at least in the launcher I made for PortableApps.com these ones grants the portable version running in all Windows versions supported by Dolphin:

Just gotta say, congrats on reaching 4.0!
I gave it a quick spin on my laptop and it ran remarkably well considering its spec (i7 2640m but Intel HD3000), the new audio core is doing much better and I'm liking the GUI overhaul.
I guess my old forum avatar is deprecated now though!
