You need to place your "ipl.bin" in your dolphin/user/GC/USA folder (depending on which region your bios is, you might need to place it in one of the other folders instead).

Then:

1) Use the LLE audio backend (that will allow you to have correct sound).
2) Set the "external frame buffer" option to "virtual" (that will fix graphical issues).
3) Make sure "skip bios" is not checked off.
4) Hold the "A" button until you get to the bios (or don't hold "A" and go directly to the game you've selected).

The Sound Is Still "Screeching"Sad

Can U fix it?

Are you using the latest Development release? https://dolphin-emu.org/download/
Version: 4.0-5762

See if it's fixed in a development version.

Yes, I only needed to turn off "HLE emulation from DSP (fast)"
I can get the main starting "theme" (from GameCube), but, if I have the "skip BIOS" unchecked, I can't load the game nor the gamecube menu. Huh

Can someone help me?
Please Fix Dolphin so people wouldn't have to have dsp lle enable and EFB set to virtual to get the bios to work. It would be nice to be able to have the bios enabled without having to change settings to get it to work.
I'm using the latest build, and even tried using v.5762 cause they said it worked on that one. But I still keep getting the screeching sound. I set the audio to DSP LLE recompiler. Is there anything else I need to do so that the BIOS plays the sound correctly?
Don't you need to dump the DSP ROM from your Wii? IIRC the DSP that comes with Dolphin won't work with the BIOS.
Please don't necropost

Who was that response to?  If to me, please explain your meaning
This thread is from 2013, so to Luigi
But that was days ago. By now, it's kind of active enough to not really count as necroed anymore. It'd still probably be tidiest to make a fresh thread, though.
