Now I either need to go hackintosh, Mac virtual machine, or fix an old Mac mini I have that doesn't have a power cable and I don't know if it works

Not 100 percent true... Marmalade xcode n visual studio will allow you to write iOS apps on other platforms then osx

worse comes to worse if you cant compile it ill set up one of my macs with remote ssh access and just use it as a mac build bot for dolphin if needed.

as it was updated 2/18/14 i doubt it... you could always snag the latest version of xcode and replace whats in the package with the downloaded binary... Visual studio should be ok...
Dolphin isn't an Alpha Blending benchmark, and does very little of it.

will pay $20 in cydia for an ps2 or dolphin emu, because it serves as motivation and not a waste of time for the developer. so we all win. I'm sure many people would do the same thing. pay for Emulator.
