Dolphin, the GameCube and Wii emulator - Forums

Ok, so, I've just had 2 problems with Dolphin so far.

First when you go to Telma's Bar as a human for the first time, Dolphin kept crashing and crashing and crashing, then found some fellas custom config on google and it worked for me.

Now, I just revitalized Midna and need the Master Sword, so I tried warping to N. Faron Woods, and it crashed, tried it again, and it crashed, warped to S. Faron Woods and it worked, but as soon as I get past the purple fog and enter N. Faron it crashes again. I've tried changing the config multiple times to make the game run faster, and it just keeps crashing, wether I warp or go by foot.

I don't know what to do.

Anyone knows some way to fix this?, or just get past this?

Try using DSP LLE. Numerous crashes are simply the fault of improper DSP emulation, and this is one of the Zelda µcode games, the HLE for which is still crap. (If it's too slow on LLE, try checking "LLE on Separate Thread", but be aware that that might just bring the crashes back.)

Should I download an older Dolphin and acquire a new *legal game*?, I'll try that.

Did you just mentioned "download a ROM"?? That´s against the rules.

Before your correction, it said over there "download an older Dolphin version and a new ROM".

So, which Dolphin version you will get? 3.0-xxx? 2.0? R7xxx or R6xxx?

I originally had 3.5-2274, recently downloaded 3.5-2287 and acquired a new game, and still can't go on with it.

Dolphin crashes in the same thing.
