DuckDuckGo puts the official site (which is even *marked* as official) as first for every query except "dolphin", where we're twelfth (?!).

That's because DDG allows anyone to say "hey, we're the official website!" if they are first to do it. Stupid system, completely abusable, but here we profit from it.

Tbh we get 0 referrals from DDG anyway, so it's not like we care.

Still don't believe me? I have a screenshot from our family all in one. First thing I did after booting it, with a clean FF history, was search for dolphin emu and this site comes in first. The weird thing is, as I've said, this doesn't happen for all of my computers. I don't know what Google's doing.

Furthermore, while I didn't specify the exact search term I used at first, I stated it right thereafter. It's also the same search I've used for past year.

Use private browsing/incognito mode. I'd bet your cookies aren't cleared properly.
