Gotta hack it then Tongue
Fwiw, the new official site has been appearing first for me. But apparently this is not true for others (e.g. My sister's laptop). I don't know what Google is doing to be honest.
Google personalizes your search results depending on what you search for and what you click on after you search, among creepier things. This is a bit of a propaganda-ish site, but it explains it adequately: http://dontbubble.us/

Making search results more accurate with machine learning. What a terrible feature. Who would want that?!

I don't think that's it. Firefox clears out everything when I close it on the family computer and my own, and they definitely aren't personalizing things based on IP (all of our computers are behind the same Comcast router). These two give the new site as the top search result, but not my iPod or my sister's laptop.

Note that everything is connected to your Google account which could explain things

Note, I already said Firefox clears out everything whenever the application closes. My Google account isn't logged in on all but one of my machines (my own PC, naturally) :p

Anyway, I figured out what it was, something silly really. I google "dolphin emu" since I'm too damn lazy to type the rest of it out. That search result gives me this site as the first result. This is also officially off-topic, so I'd say that's enough of this Google talk.
Pics or it didn't happen? Here's the proof (Firefox with clean search history):
I already told you, this is officially off-topic:

And that's the end of that. Clean FF history. Searched through Google and the FF Google Search Box (upper right). And yes, I already mentioned I search "dolphin emu" every time. It still only happens on certain computers I have. It might be due to the fact that they're running versions 4.0 through 26 or whatever the latest one is.
Keep track of the exact goddamn search query you're typing in, it'll show different results for each. Also make sure you're in private browsing mode.
For "dolphin emulator", we're third: http://cl.ly/RFRN
For "dolphin emu", we're second: http://cl.ly/RGDp
For "dolphin-emu", we're first (yay!): http://cl.ly/RFwx
For "dolphin", we're fourth: http://cl.ly/RFvk

DuckDuckGo puts the official site (which is even *marked* as official) as first for every query except "dolphin", where we're twelfth (?!).
