Hello guys Big Grin
With the new "Wii-Network" release, i've been playing again some games like DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 3 or Naruto Shippuden Clash of the Ninja Revolution 3 for testing the CWF.
I'm actually using the "Dolphin [wii-network] 3.5-339" and it runs well.. but the games doesn't run with a good speed :/
DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 3 runs in 20-30 FPS and Naruto Shippuden Clash of Ninja Revolution 3 runs in 35-40 FPS :/
It's a config problem?
In old versions i can play these games at 60 fps all the time :/
Here my config:

Specs:
CPU:AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 5200+ 2,6 GHz
RAM:2 GB DDR2 800MHz (I guess)
Video: NVIDIA GeForce 9600GT 1 GB
OS: Windows XP SP3 x86

In past, Naruto's games with watchog patch ran excellent u_u

Newer revisions may run some games slower than older revisions. Some of us have noted that games are getting faster, but the same is true for other titles.

Since you have your IR set to 1x and AA disabled, you have a CPU bottleneck, i.e. your CPU isn't fast enough to play Dolphin, at least not on 3.5+ builds. A lot has changed since r6515 (your preferred revision, as per your signature) and your Athlon is no longer strong enough for Dolphin. You could overclock your CPU, stick to older revisions (anything earlier than the stable 3.5 release is unsupported), or wait until you get new hardware. Your settings look fine, so I don't see any major way to improve speed through them.

Also note, for your reference, the latest master branch revisions have the wii-network branch merged into them (in other words, no need to download separate wii-network builds). Dolphin now can connect to Nintendo WFC (officially) as long as the certificates are in the Wii folder.

If you guys have realized it, why not try to apply the watchog patch?
Only with few public builds and just for try.. maybe it it's the salvation for us.. the poor people..

EDIT:
Using the last build (3.5-367) i've obtained 9-10 fps more..
But i don't know how obtain the CWF Connection..

Care to explain what the watchdog patch is and what it does? All I can find is a YouTube video either you or someone with a similar username posted. If it fixed some sort of compatibility issue, most likely it's outdated and unnecessary. Dolphin has become a lot more accurate in the past 2-3 years.

Also, 3.5-367 is not the latest revision. You're most likely looking at the old, unofficial website (I told you a lot has changed since r6515). Get the latest revisions here: https://dolphin-emu.org/download/ Note, you'll probably still get bad FPS, since your CPU is still not strong enough to run the latest revisions.

You can find a guide for getting the certificates here: https://dolphin-emu.org/docs/guides/wii-network-guide/ I tried it, and got it working in less than 5 minutes.

I've used the wii folder that i've got in the "Dolphin [wii-network] 3.5-339"
Thanks for the latest revision.
And the watchog patch it's a patch that boost the performance in the emulator, i don't know the technical specs, but it's like a miracle patch...
You can search it in the forums.. i have the .patch but i don't know how put it in a build..

If you needed a patch to get good speeds then, it probably won't give you much of a speed increase since Dolphin has generally become much more demanding in the past few years. Even if you used the patch, any possible speed increases would most likely be negated.

All the people say the same, but you don't tested it and i want to do it.. but i don't know how to put the patch in a actual version.

There's no need to test it ourselves given how weak your hardware is for the latest Dolphin revisions. Slow hardware is going to run Dolphin slow.

Anyway, do you have the .patch file? Dolphin has changed significantly, so the .patch file (basically a text file that shows what source code needs to be changed and where) might not even be applicable to the latest revisions since the code has undergone so many changes. You use the .patch file to change the source code before compiling the project yourself.

That old website should be deleted. I've seen lots of people thinking that 3.5-367 was the latest revision. That site even appears first on google...
They can't delete it, they don't own it XD
