Hey everyone. My laptop picks up the wii mote fine but dolphin doesnt. Even when I can get it to say "1 paired" when I start a game the control doesnt work and the buttons keep flashing. I also cant configure it through the dolphin settings. I am using my internal Bluetooth card. Does Toshiba stack work with an internal card or only a external? I downloaded it and while it was installing it kept telling me to plus in my dongle. Anyway to get this working without getting an external dongle? Thanks for any help!
update: I updated Dolphin to the newest development build and now the wii mote vibrates when I hit refresh but the lights keep flashing and it still doesnt work.

I'm working on a guide for the -TR remotes and the Toshiba Stack. What you described there means that your bluetooth adapter is not supported by Toshiba. Basically it is looking for an adapter, finding none that match one of the VIDs on it's list, and then asking you to plug in one.
However, since you get it to vibrate, I need to ask. Is your wii remote a Wii Remote Plus? You know, "Wii MotionPlus INSIDE"? Does it have the sync button on the back? And finally, does it show up in the device manager as "RVL-CNT-01" or "RVL-CNT-01-TR"?

Hi. Yes it is a wii remote plus, it has a sync button on the back, and it shows up as "RVL-CNT-01-TR".
Well, you caught me a little early; the guide isn't done yet. So I'll just tell you here and now. Here's what you can do.
1. Try the latest version. v9.10.00T (the latest) has the largest compatibility list of the lot, and
may support your adapter where the older versions wouldn't.

2. Hack it. The Toshiba Stack won't work with a bluetooth adapter that isn't in it's list of known adapters. But you can add the VID of your adapter to the list and force the installer to install the Toshiba drivers to the adapter. Just be aware that this can cause BSODs, so be careful. And uh, the odds aren't good, so don't get your hopes up. After you do the hack, it should install normally and not tell you to plug in an adapter, but if the bluetooth settings program says "Bluetooth is not ready", you're screwed. It means that you installed the drivers, yet even with them forced the Toshiba Stack can't turn the bluetooth on. Unsupported.

3. Buy a supported bluetooth adapter. They are pretty easy to tell, they'll have "Toshiba Bluetooth Software" on the case, and/or people talking about "Toshiba" in the comments. I've been using this one for testing, and I know for a fact it works great.

Okay with updated stack it connects but dolphin still doesnt see it. Under Bluetooth settings its connected. In dolphin it says a supported blue tooth device could not be found. You must manually connect wiimotes. With the stack it vibrated and only the first light is sold so im not sure why dolphin isnt seeing it???
Update: I restarted my computer and not when it searches it says unable to detect remote device. Under my devices it shows the controller as offline.
Update 2: Okay nne of my blue tooth devices are being picked up. Each says "Unable to detect remote device"
You'll have to get an external BT adapter (dongle). The problem probably comes from your built-in BT adapter. They usually suck and Toshiba stack doesn't like them (except Toshiba models

I just ordered the one referenced above. When I plug it in will it automatically override my on board blue tooth or do I have to disable the onboard?

1- Disable your old BT adapter
2- Uninstall Toshiba stack
3- Re-install Toshiba stack
4- Plug your new BT adapter [color=#ff0000]ONLY[/color] when Toshiba stack asks you to

I tried it again and it connected fine. I see under bluetooth settings it shows the control with a connection type icon. When I open dolphin the control turns on and the first player light is solid and it still doesnt work. I press buttons and nothing happens in game.
update 2: Now im just confused. I tried playing zelda tp and none of the buttons work. Tried metroid prime trilogy and only the a button on main screen worked. Tried Xenoblade chronicles and the controller works. What the heck!
