3.5-2259 is barely any different from 4.0. It's probably placebo.
Tested some games all day, felt good because it's been a while since I was hyped for anything emulator-wise, there's so many good games coming out on consoles lately that I'm neglecting my PC, heh.

I saw many upgrades. For example:

-No more crash after starting REMIX 1 in Rhythm Heaven Fever.
-The intro video in RE Darkside Chronicles is now clean, I remember something was wrong back then as well.
-Wii Sports seems to run perfectly now, which wasn't the case a few months ago when I tried it.
-Maybe it's just me, but it took longer for the background music to disappear in SMG2 when using HLE (I always try HLE when newer versions come because I get a bit of lags with LLE)
-ES_LAUNCH is now integrated I guess, since both Kirby Collection and Metroid Prime Trilogy seems to work fine. (In fact, Prime looks amazing, just look at this: http://abload.de/img/primenxr9e.png )

Good stuff, thanks to everyone involved in the process of making this marvelous emulator better.

Only sad thing is that I'm still experincing Skyward Sword's crash when I enter the first silent realm trial. Sad

On a mid-spec machine "barely any different" can change enjoyable to frustrating: with 4.0 I get stuttering in new-ax-hle at points where the CPU gets stressed.
Definitely not placebo, but it probably won't do much with high-end specs.
Well I tried the WFC thing and it seems that I am able to connect to the network in ssbb however it cannot find any players in basic brawl even if I were to wait for 1 hour. does the game have no players anymore or something
Seik:
-Rhythm Heaven works now thanks to delroth's new-ax-hle work. I've heard it introduced some audio latency that makes the game more difficult to properly play, though.
-Nobody's touched the Zelda µcode HLE, so it's probably just random occurrence that SMG happened to work slightly better this time.
-ES_LAUNCH has been merged, yes. \o/
-Try OpenGL, the Skyward Sword crash is an optimization bug in Microsoft's HLSL compiler so it should be limited to the Direct3D backends.

Verix: There were plenty of changes between those two builds, but I see nothing but bug fixes, global-user-directory work/rebases and ARM work. https://changes.dolphin-emu.org/
Also, new-ax-hle has been around for over a thousand revisions before 3.5-2259, and over two thousand for GameCube games. What games are you playing, anyway?

Nice guess, but no. It was Billiard who fixed this game with his 4 wiimotes IPC timing fix.

I fixed the RE Darkside Chronicles intro video with FIFO BP.

Lots of other fixes are not mentioned. For example, the vbeam fix made the intro video in MKDD work.

The compatibility in 4.0 is close to 99% now.
With dolphin 4.0, I got a purple/pink strap infested cutscenes in SENGOKU BASARA which is rated five stars in terms of compatibility, and I don't remember I have this problem when using dolphin 3.5.

Try unchecking the "Ignore format changes" checkbox.

It works , this method should have been added to the wiki page which says this game doesn't need specific config to run properly.
You may fix the wiki page :p
